The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
United Methodist Women (UMW) provide an opportunity for women of all ages to learn more about worldwide missions while making friendships in small group and large group settings.
Each year, United Methodist Women help countless charitable organizations, both locally and internationally, by volunteering their time, contributing needed items, and raising money.
UMW OrganizationMembers meet once a month with their small group in the parlor at St. Andrew United Methodist Church (UMC)from September through May. The entire UMW family joins together for fall and spring socials, a silent auction and luncheon at Christmas, a retreat, and multiple mission opportunities.

In addition to the two daytime groups, one evening group exists. We welcome you to join with us as we study and support worldwide missions.
Ruth Circle meets the second Friday of each month at 9:30am in the Parlor.
Sarah Circle normally meets the first Wednesday of each month at 9:30am in room 127, except Dec and May are in Piro Hall.
Rachel/Deborah Circle normally meets the second Monday of each month at 7pm in the Parlor.
Christmas Silent Auction and Luncheon is held every year on the 1st Saturday of December. This is an event that everyone looks forward to with great Christmas items available for bidding.
